What’s the key idea behind Trucks For Change Network?
Our key idea is to make it simple and cost-effective for our member carriers to help community charities. We do this by collecting and entering real-time service requests from our client charities on a unique online system. Requests are reviewed by our members, who then post offers to provide service on a donated or preferred-rate basis, based upon their immediate resources and ability to help. Our charities enjoy cost savings, convenience, and a wider base of corporate partners. Our members get the chance to make a difference in their community in an efficient manner, and to earn recognition for their participation.

Our organization already has transportation partners. Why do we need Trucks For Change Network?
Two key reasons. First, individual corporate partners, while valuable, are often able to provide limited support, particularly during challenging economic times. Trucks For Change Network offers its client charities access to community-minded trucking partners covering all equipment types, geographical regions, and product specialization, instantly expanding their donor reach. Second, by using technology to match charity requests with our members’ capabilities and real-time truck fleet availability, we are far more likely to find you a member who is in a position to help.

What will it cost us to participate, and what obligations will we have?
There is no cost to becoming a Trucks For Change Network client charity, and if you do, there is no obligation to purchase anything. You will of course be obligated to pay our member carriers for services which you agree to purchase from among the offers received. For each transaction you agree to complete, you will also be billed a $60 fee by Trucks For Change Network, which is used to cover the costs of maintaining the network and systems. Finally, your charitable organization will be asked to participate in programs designed to recognize Trucks For Change Network and its members for the value of the donated and discounted services you receive.
