Support Kitchener-Waterloo Carriers In Their “Team-Build For Humanity”

On September 20, 21, and 22, Trucks For Change Network (T4C) member carriers in the Kitchener-Waterloo region will devote their skills and their time to making affordable housing in their community a reality.

Teams of employees from Liberty Linehaul, MacKinnon Transport, Mill Creek Motor Freight, TransPro, Bison Transport, Erb Transport, Midland Transport, and Trailer Wizards will join forces to work on a Habitat For Humanity build site in Waterloo.

“This is yet another great example of the trucking industry coming together to give back to its communities” said Pete Dalmazzi of T4C, which has organized the event.

The T4C teams are also trying to raise $10,000 to support Habitat For Humanity programs. You can help by making a corporate or personal tax-deductible donation to one or more of the teams at http://habitatwr.rallybound.org/Trucks-For-Change

Habitat For Humanity’s homebuilding program supports families needing a “hand up not a hand-out” to realize their dream of home ownership. Partner families are required to volunteer 250 hours toward their home, and receive an interest-free mortgage to help them break the cycle of poverty. You can learn more about their programs at www.Habitat.ca.
