At Truck World 2014 in Toronto on April 10, 11, and 12 in Toronto, Trucks For Change Network joined hands with many of its member carriers and industry partners to fight hunger by supporting Toronto’s Daily Bread Food Bank.
Through our raffle and our “Loonies For Leads” fundraiser, cash donations to Daily Bread totalled $2,500.00! In addition, many of our members donated trucking services valued at over $3,000.00 throughout the week to help Daily Bread collect thousands of pounds of food donations from across the GTA. A huge THANK YOU to the following T4C members and partners who joined the fight against hunger during Truck World week: Trailer Wizards, Newcom Media, Challenger Motor Freight, TransCore Link Logistics, Midland Transport, National Truck League, Bison Transport, Kal Tire, Erb Transport, J.D. Smith & Sons Transport, Armbro Transport, Ryder Canada, and Power Brokers.
