Team Trailer Wizards whoops it up at Trucks For Change Network’s first ever “Rolling Over Hunger” food sort competition in support of Toronto’s Daily Bread Food Bank in November.
Within a trucking industry already well-known for giving back to its communities, Trailer Wizards is setting the bar even higher. The leader in the Canadian trailer rental and leasing business announced this week that it is expanding its partnership with trucking industry non-profit Trucks For Change Network (T4C), becoming T4C’s first ever “Overdrive Partner”.
“We’ve enjoyed an amazing four year partnership with our friends at Trailer Wizards” said Pete Dalmazzi, Trucks For Change Network president and founder, adding “This new level of support will allow us to further expand our carrier network and our support of communities across Canada.”
Trucks For Change Network coordinates donated and discounted transport services through its network of member carriers, matching charity freight requests with available truck capacity. Since 2011, T4C member carriers have distributed over 12 million pounds of donated food and materials in support of charities across Canada, including Food Banks Canada, Habitat For Humanity Canada, Canadian Red Cross, and many others.
